How to use Muscle Milk

There is a lot of controversy over the best time to use Muscle Milk. Here's a fact for you though: supplements affect everyone differently. I will list a few of the best ways to use Muscle Milk, and you should experiment with them to see what works best for you.

PRE-WORKOUT - Drink it 30-90 minutes before working out

DURING WORKOUT - Mix Muscle Milk with Cytomax in the middle of your workout to re-nourish your body and muscles to avoid entering a catabolic state

POST-WORKOUT - Drink it ASAP (no longer than an hour) after your workout to increase muscle synthesis. In my opinion, this is a very important time to get protein in your system! What's the point of lifting hard if you're not going to give your muscles what they need? Here's another fact for you: a bodybuilder grows outside of the gym not inside the gym. Never forget this if you want to grow! 70% of your progress is attributed to diet and rest. 30% or less is attributed to your workout.

BEFORE BED - Drink it before bed if you want to be more anabolic while sleeping. Remember what I said a minute ago? Rest up!

drink it once a day unless your trying to gain a ton of muscle.

If you want to get lean. Take it before sleeping. It gives you diarrhea sometimes.

i would not take it going to bed, i dont care what your taken' calories turns to fat so. so i recommend that you take it during or after a workout.

I usually make it to the gym 2 to 3 times a week. I usually work midnights, so I go around midnight on my nights off. After working out, I come home and go to bed. Should I still be drinking it on my days that I don't work out and when should I drink it?

im 16 and i weigh 150. i'm a slim kid but im pretty damn strong and i can lift a lot of weight but i no really getting any bigger. so now im desiding to start taking muscle milk but i don't know if i should take it before, during, or after. or if i shd take it jus before and after or All three. but u get what i mean.

what should i do ?

will me taking those three get me bigger then me just taking it once or twice ?

because i really want to get bigger.

okay, to all the kids on this page, just stop! You don't need muscle milk, you guys/girls are in the prime of your muscle building ability. Just pick up some heavier weights and stop being lazy lol. You can't just run basketball drills, lift 5lb weights or go for jogs to gain muscle, you have to work. Don't depend on a supplement this young in your life, or you'll need more and more the older you get to keep your muscles from catabolic breakdown, trust me when I say I know all too well what it can do to your body.
To all the immature adults on this page...lay off the steroids because your attitudes suck. :D

I am a female who is looking to loss fat and agin muscle. I usually do 30 mins of cardio and 30 mins of weights. Would Muscle Milk be ideal for be to use as 1 meal replacement, for lunch a day and still help in promoting weight loss. I just purchased the 2lb carton, but now after reading reviews, not for sure if I bought it thinking it would be alright to use as such. If it can be used as a meal replacement, could I use on my non-workout days. Right now, I'm only working out 3x's a week. Thanks for any advice!

Drink it and hour before the work out go for a run get warmed up then go work out dink about half before the workout. After finish it up. I found this to be the best way

That only makes your muscle get big but your really not helping yourself cause when you stop taking it your muscle will just shrink. Plus you'll keep wanting it ( you'll become addicted)
